A project is defined as an individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully planned and designed to achieve a particular aim.
Our projects benefit the target group of Van Deventer-Maas Stichting.
Projects must be of an educational nature and chiefly concern underprivileged, well governed or promising institutions, empowering these institutions to improve the quality of their educational output. (See Selftest Projects)
Organizations requesting support for projects must meet certain criteria (see Selftest Organizations).
Projects are proposed by submitting a preliminary ‘quick proposal’ (QP) stating the main characteristics of the project, such as: objective, target group, activities needed to realize the objective, tentative budget and profile of the organization (see Proposals).
After approval of the QP, one can draft and submit a full proposal (FP). The project can start after approval of the FP and signing of an agreement by and between the partner organization and VDMS.
During realization progress is regularly monitored.
After completion the project and its results will be evaluated.
